Talking to my dad tonight
He said, "I wanna live. Thank you for being there for me in my hour of need. You never know how much a person means to you until you're gonna lose them. Thank you."
This is the truth. I experienced this first hand when my mother, aunt, and grandmother were lost and I didn't know where they were. What I felt at that moment made me realize I would not be better off if my mother died so I have since stop saying that.
